What you see here is what time you would need to launch support for it to land EXACTLY at the time you put on the first page.If you have cats in your D villages, select that, if not, swords, or maybe you just have SP/HC (select spear). Select all your D villages with a lot of troops and select the slowest unit in the village. You will now see a list of all your villages.Arrival Date/Time - The date and time the FIRST noble lands.Attacking player - YOURSELF! You will be attacking.Village - Coordinates of the village with the noble train incoming.Of course, there are many options to defend it, but here we're just talking about sniping (getting defense to land in between noble attacks). You spotted a noble train incoming! DON'T FREAK. We're going to be using it to see how long it takes to get from one of your own villages to another.īut first thing's first. With this site, you can basically see the time it takes for any type of troop from any player to get from any other village. I'm not a guide writer, so please bear with me while I just talk about what I know.įirst of all, if you don't have the W36 attack planner bookmarked or in your quickbar, do it NOW! The key factor is often the amount of time someone has on their hands and how well they plan things out.The ability to effectively snipe trains will make or break a player getting op'd in a war. Will it make the game easier? I seriously ask you how this will make it any easier? Learning players will have a little less to learn and be honest with yourself: the people that can snipe you every time now, will still snipe you every time if it is included. It's in that regard much less intrusive than the mass recruitment tools that have been in the game for over a decade now. It's not a real game-related skill to be able to discern when to send troops relative to landing times considering the game literally gives you travel times (A - B = C). Will it lower the skill level required? Not by that much. Being so bad at math I can't accurately tell you how many fingers I have on one hand, I consider this a good thing. Right now you have to do it by head (for the rich people, use pen and paper) or use some sniping tool/script. In terms of why players leave the game, I'd rank this issue really low on the list.Īs a retired old-timer I can say I like the idea of having a calculator tool included inside the game. I don't think the average player knows about or implements even the most common scripts and I can't see it having any influence on making the game "more appealing". I don't use the snipe script and snipe everything just fine myself. Slow the game down so recreational and new players have more time to learn, prepare and actually do all the parts of the game. No feature or script is ever going to make up for that and make the game more appealing. New players can never compete, get abused because they are easy targets and therefore won't stick around. ![]() There also needs some form of upvoting or ranking system to separate the good guides from the bad because it's a jungle atm and finding things of value is rather slow and frustrating.Īs with all my posts recently, the above logic is meaningless while the ability to buy power exists. Instead, make better resources so people can find and learn how to use the current script instead of just feeding it to them on a plate. Please stop reducing the skill cap/learning curve just to make sure new players are able to compete and stick around on the game.
